DELICIO, the premium brand from the basket of AATCO (an Ali & Abdul Karim Group Company) became the first food condiments brand in Middle East to reward the culinary talents of Young & Bright Future Chefs from National Hospitality Institute, Muscat with the ‘Chefs Of Tomorrow’ contest on 17th & 18th June 2008 at the Institute Premises.

The event, highlighting Delicio’s wide & innovative product range developed by AATCO Food Solutions Division (FSD), was sponsored by AATCO and their FSD Distribution Partner, Matrah Cold Stores.

Nationality Hospitality Institute has been on the forefront in training and developing Young Talents in various segments of the Hospitality Industry and Quality Systems.

Crowne Plaza Hotel Executive Chef Mr.Gireesh Nair, Italian Chef Mr.Emanuelo and Pastry Chef Mr.Kemal along with Intercontinental Hotel Executive Chef Mr.Austin judged the preparations in 3 categories: Entrée, Main Course and Desserts on parameters of Hygiene, Product Applications, Presentation of product, Texture of product, Recipe and Culinary Knowledge.

The contest was a learning experience for the future chefs of NHI as the reputed Chefs shared their experiences and guided the young chefs thru’ the ‘Art of Cooking’
